Coaching Program in Detail
I created the challenge-4-change coaching program for individuals and corporations based upon my own experiences of the past. The mentioned adventure challenges on traveling the world for free, trading an apple to a house, kick scooting 2000 miles and 80 days and many others have required strategy plans to achieve my goals. In “How to Travel the World for Free” (PBS, Tonight Show), I mainly had to focus on strategies to improve my stress management and the ability to constantly embrace change. In ‘Trade Up Around the World’, I mainly had to improve my goal setting, and the ability to leave my comfort zone. Other projects helped me in other aspects of personal and professional development skills. Ten years and almost 90 traveled countries later, I sat down and reflected on what I had learned by taking on these adventure challenges. I developed to the Challenge-4-Change Coaching program, also entitled the MWCC program, please view here. This program has proven success with more than 200 clients. I supported clients with this program as their personal life coach & career coach in Denver, CO and Colorado Springs. Feel free to have a look at the review section to read more on clients who had successful changes in their personal and professional lives.
What Kind of Issues Do You Work on?
I’ve had all sort of clients from several countries so far. Most clients reach out to me to improve their personal life. Quiet often a person has obstacles holding himself or herself back from a satisfying life like shyness, low self-esteem, lack of physical or mental fitness, or a lack on setting boundaries to others. Other clients have reached out to me because they experience jealousy, conflict, or anger in relationships. About a third of my clients rather want to improve their career situation. They often ask themselves, is the current career path what I want, or do I rather want to be self-employed rather than employed in Corporate America? I also often help them in solving conflicts at work, or learning how to set boundaries to avoid many over-hours. Part of my coaching work happens directly in corporations as an easy way to help employees and leaders to improve their situations. Private clients can get 60-minutes sessions with me as career coach and life coach in Denver, CO and Colorado Springs. Both life and career coaching spaces are centrally located and easy to reach. Additionally, I offer phone and online coaching for those who cannot make it to Colorado Springs or Denver, CO to my offices once in a while. My clients usually have a decent success with their desired goals and changes after six sessions, if they’re willing to work hard and do their homework.
How Does the Coaching Program Look Like?
The Challenge-4-Change coaching program is based on a time frame of three months with a high success rate on embracing change in the lives of my clients. A follow-up program can be booked though if wanted. These three months contain six 60-minutes sessions, usually one session every two weeks. Cancellations or the wish to postpone sessions have to be done days in advance. Additional to these sessions, you have to opportunity to e-mail to me twice a week for questions related to your goals and homework. You may wonder if we’re at school, me talking here about homework, right? But no worries. After each session, you usually set yourself a challenge that is related to your goals. Alternatively, I’d give you a challenge to leave your comfort zone and to come closer to your goals. These challenges do always relate to your current situation. Let’s say you’re in my coaching program because you like to overcome shyness. A typical challenge would be getting out in public and trying to talk to a person of the other sex to overcome shyness. For shy people this can cause anxiety in the first place. But by following my program you learn how to strategically accept the fear or anxiety to be able to overcome these obstacles. Here comes in the next pillar of the challenge-4-change program. In such a situation, you may additionally be invited to call me for motivational advice.
